ABSTRACT
The creation of a fair and objective rating system for the codes of football provides a challenge, since the performance of one team affects that of the other team. A survey of football rating systems is provided in this report as a resource for those interested in that topic. Further, the various systems are compared and critiqued constructively to provide a platform for improvement of the current systems and for guidance to those who may want to create such systems.
