Using preceding chapters in the book as a foundation, this chapter comments on some of the major themes discussed and offers further reflections regarding inter-regional relationships, the Asia-Pacific region’s relationship with the world, the need for progressive teacher education, and some of the unique challenges facing this region. Comments are made as to possible ways forward to more inclusive models of teaching and learning as education systems in the Asia-Pacific region undergo significant change in reform.
