ABSTRACT
Radical Change theory can be utilized to examine and clarify a number of aspects of contemporary society (Dresang, “Intellectual Freedom;” “Radical Change”). It grew out of a need to explain apparent changes in youth, their behaviors, and their books in a digital environment; therefore, it has most frequently been applied to explain texts and situations related to youth. As with all theories, it provides explanatory power for something that might otherwise either be misunderstood or understood from a different perspective.
