ABSTRACT

Once upon a time, so it’s been told time and again, there was a kingwho owned some cattle. Among them was a calf that the king wascompletely crazy about, a calf more beautiful than words can tell. The king had named it “Golden Horn” and had entrusted this calf to a man he respected more than anyone. His nickname was “Old Man Truth,” a perfect name for him because the king had never heard him utter a single lie, and he often invited him to the palace to hear news of his special calf, whose safety he had entrusted to Old Man Truth.
