ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the application of the European Socio-economic Classification (ESeC) to three sources of European cross-national data. The data sources used for this purpose are the European Union Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS), the European Community Household Panel Survey (ECHP) and the European Social Survey (ESS).
