ABSTRACT

Imagine that you have finally gotten up the nerve to tell a colleague about something you did wrong at work that has been bothering you for months. You go home and wonder whether you did the right thing. You lie there in bed imagining what your colleague must think of you now and what she might say about you to other colleagues. The next morning, you study her face for signs of judgment and her actions for signs of coolness. There are none. Was your confession good or bad for you from a health standpoint?
