ABSTRACT
Diagramming is the product of a long participatory evolution within various development projects in the majority world, and today widely used elsewhere (see Kindon et al. Chapter 2 in this volume). Using graphic and/or tactile materials to create visual representations that express participants’ ideas and understandings, Participatory Diagramming is often used with groups to draw out issues and galvanise further discussion, analysis and action.
