ABSTRACT
This book is an edited volume of original chapters, all of which have been specifically written for it. The idea for the book originated in the supervision of a number of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) research projects into management development (MD), three of which feature as chapters in the book (Chapters 2, 4 and 18).
