The study of public management in France is presently advancing at a strong pace. Just as academic teaching and research in this field has made headway, continuing education for civil servant managers and professional studies in the field have flourished. As for initial training in the French higher educational system, it is gradually incorporating – though still modestly – the topic of public management in the curricula.
