Introduction

In the first decade of the twenty-first century, the shape of regionalism in Asia is changing rapidly. Whereas in previous decades regionalism was more limited, today both the scope of the cooperation and integration processes and the membership are being expanded. The contributions in this book aim at analysing these evolutionary processes.
