ABSTRACT

This chapter, by a Professor of Applied and Professional Ethics and the ViceChancellor of Leeds Metropolitan University, sets out an approach to global ethics that permeates the life of our University. It is not our contention that Leeds Met is unique in seeking world-wide horizons or in the study of ethics or in the practice of partnerships. We do, however, think that there might be some wider interest and significance in Leeds Met’s thorough-going commitment to the refreshing perspectives that come from the creative combining of these three elements of partnerships, world-wide horizons and ethics.
