ABSTRACT

The contributions to this book have explored the issue of corporate governance regulation in very different settings and from a wide variety of theoretical perspectives. These settings range from domestic policies via EU directives to global standards, while perspectives include, inter alia, regulation theory, the VoC approach and the neo-Gramscian perspective. This diversity notwithstanding, the studies presented in this book also share a common focus and a number of common concerns that run across the volume.
