The Women's Movement in Bulgaria After Communism

What follows is an overview of the state of the women’s “movement” in Bulgaria several years after the celebrated changes in Eastern Europe that began in 1989. I am interested in how women’s organizations formulate and pursue their goals, which obstacles they typically encounter, and the character and prospects of the movement in general.
