ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a brief introduction to the field of time-frequency analysis and, in particular, the spectrogram, for the visualization of electroacoustic music. The reader will be introduced to time-domain representations, frequency-domain representations, time-frequency analysis, and the spectrogram.
