ABSTRACT
The earliest recollection along with ratings of remembered strictness-permissiveness was obtained from 118 university students. Three raters rated each early recollection on nine scales of variables related to personal adjustment. The two scales measuring behavior of self dimensions were significant as was the scale of internal frame of reference of self-confidence. Discussion was given to possibilities for further study.
