ABSTRACT
A review of the psychological literature indicates that early recollections have been of great interest for many years. The approach taken by Adlerians is that perception and memory are both related to the individual’s frame of reference or attitudinal set. The early recollections of a person are seen as reflecting the person’s perceptual framework within which life’s experiences are interpreted.
