ABSTRACT
Ever since the Uruguay Round ended, a number of World Trade Organisation (WTO) members have pressed for clarifications of the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPs). Developing country members have engaged in sharply pitched battles with developed country governments over broken promises and unfinished business.
