ABSTRACT
This chapter explores issues around the organisation and management of educational resources. It discusses some of the current tools available to help academics and support staff to manage these, in particular highlighting the importance of learning technology interoperability standards in supporting more effective use and re-purposing of such resources. Finally it investigates some of the associated issues (pedagogical, technical, cultural) that may inhibit effective content management and provides insight into ways in which these challenges might be addressed.
