ABSTRACT
Since you have chosen to read this chapter, you have already identified yourself as someone who a) wants to develop their knowledge and skills whether you are in initial teacher education or already in post in school and b) someone who has chosen not only to read the chapters on aspects of teaching, valuable as they are, but to extend your reading and practice and read a chapter that might impact on your development as a teacher overall.
