ABSTRACT
The MGC/V&A Purchase Grant Fund provides assistance for local authority and university museums, art galleries, libraries and record offices in England and Wales to purchase objects relating to the arts and literature and history (a similar fund is operated in Scotland by the National Museums of Scotland). MGC registered status is a basic requirement for eligibility for funds. This chapter provides information about the regulations and scope of the Fund.
