ABSTRACT
The Council is working closely with the National Museums of Scotland and the University of Glasgow on this programme. The long-term purpose, in addition to the objectives listed above, is to assist in the improvement of the quality of care and use of ethnographic collections in museums and other collections through recording their existence.
