ABSTRACT
Abstract The first part of this study was to elaborate performance criteria for stone treatment systems and to develop criteria for the assessment of the effectiveness of stone protecting materials. New approaches of accelerated testing were carried out in cooperation between the chemical industry and interdisciplinary collaborating scientific institutions. Agents on polymer base have been preferably developed and applied to different types of sandstones.
