ABSTRACT
It is well known that concrete protects rebars from corrosion, but in the presence of some types of aggressive species they may corrode.
The corrosion of rebars can seriously affect the service life of structures which are designed to fulfil a series of requirements for long periods of time, either structural or aesthetic (Weber, 1983) (Andrade, 1989).
