ABSTRACT
As an introduction to this chapter, which is in itself a warm-up to the continued reading of this book, I would like to look at Moreno’s thinking of the warm-up process. I will then move on to look at the warm-up of the director and group. The final part of this chapter will concentrate on practical examples in certain situations. The element concerning warm-up that I wish to emphasise is that it is a process and not simply a technique.
