ABSTRACT
This chapter is an attempt to look at a whole complex cluster of issues that revolve around the notion of regionalism in the film and television industry. It also tries to consider regionalism both in the national and international contexts. I would particularly like to acknowledge the contribution to this chapter that has been made by many individuals and organizations from across the country, and thank them for their time, their thoughts and their interest.
