ABSTRACT
The preceding two contributors are two of a kind. Call them exercises in interpretation. Instead of taking knife and scissors to dissect their target and use the pieces to deduce reality—the analytical method—the authors have woven rich compositions around a complex reality which they have read as if it were a text. Theirs is the interpretative approach in the hermeneutical and rhetorical traditions.
