ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses work in progress in Western Australia on developing Values Outcome Statements (VOSs) for the school curriculum. Since other chapters describe the more detailed curriculum development that has resulted, the present emphasis will be more on the social and philosophical dimensions of the project.
