ABSTRACT
In running a session using the material in Section One the trainer might find it helpful to use trigger material to stimulate thinking. This could include a game, for example ‘Ba Fa Ba Fa’ available from Oxfam, or ‘Discrimination’ based on the notion of territorialism and designed by Sheila Sharpless. Films and videos are also useful: Colour Blind? (available from Tavistock Publications Ltd, 11 New Fetter Lane, London EC4P 4EE), or educational films available from Concorde. Current affairs programmes that look at race issues, or specialist ethnic minority programmes such as Black on Black, Eastern Eye (LWT), and Ebony (BBC-1) are also sometimes helpful in this regard.
