ABSTRACT

It is impossible to understand fully learning in the future workplace of the twenty-first century. The rapidly changing world in which we have been living is giving birth to a host of new ways of understanding work, jobs, organisations, technology and change. Those who design and run organisations in the future will be products of this new era and will bring mindsets to their positions that are in the process of becoming. We cannot predict the exact nature of future shifts, nor whether or when we might again enter a more stable time period.
