ABSTRACT

The Triple P-Positive Parenting Program (hereafter referred to as the Triple P system) is a unique, population based, multilevel system of evidence-based parenting support targeting children from infancy through to adolescence (Sanders & Mazzucchelli, 2018). The beginnings of Triple P date back to 1978 when the author developed a 10-session parenting intervention delivered individually to parents of disruptive preschool-aged children in their homes through active skills training. The intervention focused on using self-management training to help parents generalize their application of positive parenting and contingency management procedures to diverse settings.
