ABSTRACT
Few scholars have contributed as much to the field of international politics, in particular, and the social sciences in general as has Harold Guetzkow. For three decades he has supported, coordinated, and criticized the work of those who labor in the vineyard of quantitative world politics in order to make that work more rigorous, empirically-based, and cumulative. The range of services he has rendered to this field is truly remarkable.
