ABSTRACT

Game design involves different tasks, such as considering how the game should work and its elements. Thus, how can we do this to create an experience that involves the greatest number of players, including people with disabilities? What actions, tools, philosophies, or principles can we use as game designers? That is what this chapter intends to discuss since the game design process does not always regard people with disabilities as part of the game intended audience. Inspired by the social inclusion principles, we discuss how we can address the game design activities in a process called Inclusive Game Design.
