ABSTRACT
It began as any other university journal cancellation project-Iowa State University (ISU) had gone through this difficult and painful experience three times before, with its first cancellation project being in 1980–81. As had happened before, the ISU Library’s acquisitions expenditures were increasing at rates that exceeded available acquisitions funds.
