ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the links between justice and sustainability and more precisely between the inequality and ecological crises. The first section briefly reviews the available empirical evidence on the inequality and ecological crises; the second section reviews the transmission channels of the inequality crisis to environmental degradations; the final section reviews the different types of social inequality resulting from environmental degradations and crises.
