ABSTRACT
In this chapter, school administrators and leaders will learn about the unique training for special educators that cultivates adaptive expertise. Scenarios will help highlight how reframing strategies special educators use with their students in the classroom can support the whole school population not just in direct instruction settings but also in strategic planning and committee work. Having read this chapter, administrators and leaders will see how to leverage special educators and their unique skills in school-wide initiatives.
