ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a summative assessment of Amazon’s development by explaining its economic, political, and cultural achievements through the metaphor of the Digital Lord. The story depicted in this book is the story of the extraordinary success of a Digital Lord who built a Digital Estate in 25 years of activities. It is the story of a Digital Lord who thrived under the current organisation of capitalism that favours market concentration, dominance, and prospers greatly in the condition of absence of regulatory frameworks to redistribute wealth. It the story of a Digital Lord that not only can survive the global coronavirus pandemic but even increases its wealth: whether a revolution against the Lord will happen is probably too early to tell.
