ABSTRACT
Microlearning and open educational resources (OER) are a natural combination, complementing each other to provide instructors and learners with open access to flexible, small-scale learning materials. This chapter presents key concepts related to OER design and distribution to help instructional designers, IT and learning and development professionals, educators, human resource managers, and trainers make decisions about how they can help support the microlearning movement.
