Bibliographic Access in the United Kingdom: Some Current Factors

This paper describes three of the most important factors in the current provision of bibliographic access in the UK: the national bibliographic service; bibliographic standards and the book-trade; networking. These factors are considered against the background of the CEC DGXIIIB Plan of Action for Libraries in the EC.
