ABSTRACT

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, in Washington, DC, occupies two main buildings located between Constitution and Virginia Avenues, NW. These buildings are surrounded by the Department of State, the National Academy of Sciences, the Interior Department’s Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Vietnam Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial is within a few blocks, and from the roof level terrace of the Board’s Martin building there is a panoramic view of the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and Arlington House, the home of Robert E. Lee.
