ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the occipital lobes, which play a crucial role in our interpretation and recognition of visual information as well as being home to one of the most important “resting rhythms” of the brainwave (commonly referred to as posterior dominant rhythm). For this chapter, O1 and O2 are combined. Dysregulation factors and two neurocounseling techniques will be presented, as well as LORETA image activations. The neurocounseling techniques, with included step-by-step instructions, are audio-visual entrainment (AVE) and light therapy box.
