ABSTRACT
I want to begin by saying how pleased I am that the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) is a sponsor of this event. “Economic Studies and Models” is one of CNI’s five major program themes. We see this conference as a major opportunity to promote clear thinking and communication in this area. Our hopes at least so far have been fulfilled. I appreciate all the work that Joan Lippincott, CNI’s Assistant Executive Director, did to deliver on CNI’s commitment to this program.
