ABSTRACT

Future work in network science, cognitive psychology, and related fields will explain if the path suggested in the present chapter will live up to the promise of connecting mind, brain, and behavior, or not. To overcome these two limitations of using a computational framework as the lingua franca to link mind and brain, the author aims to explore in the following sections the possibility of using network science as a way to connect the mind, brain, and behavior of an individual. Finally, the author considers the possibility that advances in multilayer networks seen in internet-related networks might serve as a guide for building multilayer networks of cognitive and brain networks and thereby finally connect mind, brain, and behavior.
