ABSTRACT
Contemporary classrooms in many countries are affected by demographic changes influenced by global migration patterns. Effective STEM education must consider students’ diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds in any classroom. This chapter presents the literature regarding the importance of well-planned STEM education that considers the needs and strengths of linguistically diverse students.
