ABSTRACT
In the present chapter, we will present two important State undertakings during the early “crisis” era in Greece and attempt to show how these served as an opportunity for the consolidation of the State apparatus through the rigidification of gender and race power relations. We will suggest that this happened through the circulation of reactionary feelings among the population and try to trace marks of nomadic resistances to this reinforcing domination that had attained fascistic resonances.
