ABSTRACT

This volume is a contribution to the developing literature on psychoanalytic and group analytic work with staff groups and organizations. We hope that this book will be of interest to psychotherapists, organizational consultants, facilitators of reflective practice groups, coaches, trainees in these disciplines, and any professionals who work with staff, teams, and organizations. The purpose of this book is to explore the application of group analysis to organizational consultancy and reflective practice. The contributors present their work in different settings, ranging from staff and reflective practice groups with GPs, a forensic psychiatric hospital, an Anglican religious community, a children’s hospice, a long-stay psychiatric unit, an acute psychiatric ward, a palliative care unit, a student group on a Diploma Course in Group analysis, to a Large Group with psychotherapists and group analysts, and consultancy to the management team of a global organization.
