ABSTRACT

Thirty-nine dead bodies have been found till the date of enquiry. The number is so reliable, so credible that you are not inclined to round it off to the fullness of forty by adding one or subtracting one and pegging it at the near fullness of thirty-eight. It is as if the number stands at thirty-nine at the end of the day in spite of the rigorous search and all the efforts of those responsible for ferreting out dead bodies.
