ABSTRACT

The task facing religious education in developing its curriculum today demands that the psychology of religious development, the philosophical and theological problems, and the pluralistic context should be taken into account. In addition, the history of the subject in moving into the educational area, and in distinguishing itself more clearly from the faith-fostering activities of the religious communities themselves, needs to be studied seriously.
