ABSTRACT
178Mr. William Eskridge was the second person we interviewed from Carroll County. Mrs. Leola Blackmon told us that people respect his opinion and look upon him as a source of great wisdom. Right after interviewing Mrs. Blackmon, we went with her to Mr. Eskridge's house outside of Carrollton. We were feeling a little tired after our first interview, and the sticky August heat was pressing on us. We conducted the interview with Mr. Eskridge outside in his carport.
