ABSTRACT
The intriguing world of the electronic mass media captured my fascination and imagination the first time I visited a television studio in Phoenix, Arizona. The year was 1963. It was the year of John F. Kennedy's assassination, civil rights marches, and the slow-burning fuse in a remote place called Indochina.
