ABSTRACT
In this last section we analyze the demand for electricity for the residential sector of the economy, which includes houses and apartments. Several important questions arise in the discussion and should be considered: Are demographic trends an integral factor in assessing the future of this sector? How pervasive are conservation efforts and do long-term conservation trends require a longer time period to produce results throughout the residential sector? What fuel price rises are necessary to achieve maximum energy conservation in this sector?
